ASPEN is dedicated to improving patient care by advancing the science and practice of clinical nutrition and metabolism. Founded in 1976, ASPEN is an interdisciplinary organization whose members are involved in the provision of clinical nutrition therapies, including parenteral and enteral nutrition.

GASPEN, a local chapter of ASPEN, was established in the early 1980s.  Now, in our fifth decade, GASPEN aspires to continue our mission to foster the optimal use of nutrition and metabolic support for patients in all settings, to serve as a resource for nutrition support practice, and to support the evolving field of nutrition support.
