President’s Welcome
Hello! I’m excited and honored to serve as the newest GASPEN President and am looking forward to working alongside our new president-elect, Ashely DePriest, MS, RDN, LD, CNSC, FSSM, secretary-treasurer, Nathan Schober, MS, RD, CNSC, CET, and the rest of the GASPEN board. I would also like to thank our immediate past-president, Vivian Zhao, PharmD, BCNSP, FASPEN, for her dedication and commitment to GASPEN. We cannot thank her enough for all she has done during her term as president!
The GASPEN board has been hard at work planning our annual conference. Please save the date for Friday, September 13, 2024. The venue will be at the Emory Conference Center again this year. This conference will provide 4.5 hours of continuing education credits for dietitians, nurses, pharmacists, and physicians and registration will be open soon – stay tuned for additional details!
A big thank you to the entire GASPEN board for their ongoing efforts to make this annual conference a big success. It takes countless hours to plan, organize and execute a meeting of this caliber and I could not be more thankful for this amazing group of board members.
Don’t forget, you can access all GASPEN-related information, such as newsletters and recorded past event presentations, from our website, www.GASPEN.org. You can also subscribe to the website to be automatically alerted of any new updates.
Thank you for being a GASPEN member!
